that maybe for once
life had a meaning,
I was helping trouble ones
who were lost in the system
and needed healing.
Every day we would kick it
learn from each other
and
the direct care posse
was like sisters and brothers,
we were all like family
some days we would laugh
some days we would frown
but all the time
we were helping those who were down.

But now its over
the fams been ripped apart
by a faulty design
unexpected events
have changed this life line,
and I wonder
what the troubled ones will do
its hard to imagine
that life can be so cruel,
so we are left with memories
of the things that happened
it should have never ended this way
but thats it
this is the end.....
we will never pass this way again.

Nothing good lasts forever. I always think of that
when things are great and I really appreciate them for what they are and cherish the good when I/'/m part of it. This is sad but a heart felt endearing poem. Thank you!

James
