Green grass, buzzing bees, plodding feet did meet, these three,
whence death thus spoke to me.

I don/'/t fault the bee that stung me;
in duress, this is what bees do.

I can/'/t blame myself for walking;
it/'/s how people move.

The field is no more to blame
than a tablecloth with stains.

I hope I die as thus the bee;
Blameless! Blameless! Blameless!

Strangely sad, yet kind in its train of thought.

May we all feel our life is but as natural as the life of the bee.

The more we take time to ponder it seems, the simpler life can be broken down into it components.
Man is the only animal who knows he is going to die. No wonder we think of it often!
I hope no one looks at my balance sheet when I am gone, or the IRS may bring me back!
Wishing us all a peaceful farewell.

Agreed. Something is to be said for simply passing in your sleep. Quietly and peacefully. As you said blameless....

Well done!!!

transfiguring how people die
my dad, surgery went bad
the hurt, sitting there watching
and the surgeon patting me on the back

I would go back but not too far
You know the approach
If one could know everything before
it happened like it did but they could not

but about me
my death
ceasing to be

"His was a mistake waiting to happen"
go ahead, put that on my tombstone
sure

Peace!
