Know not, what goes on
Under their canopies
Fresh blades of grass
Wouldn/'/t know what makes them grow
Beneath the soil they bestow
The sun can not see
Where its energy comes from
Way down below
Nor can it see what prospers
Beneath Its life giving rays
We humans often do not comprehend
The gift of life we have been given
Nor the scope of God/'/s plan
We simply choose to live each and every day
Go about it in a very simple way
Usually thinking of tomorrow
Instead of enjoying what we have today

That/'/s the weird part. When we/'/re children, we don/'/t just enjoy today, but we enjoy the moment, and practically the most simple of things. It/'/s not until we start going to school which is supposed to help us later in our life by the time we reach adulthood.

Then we have ourselves stuck in that rut, and so on we then continue. After having our own kids, they follow suit.

Nice write James, certainly enjoy the imagery. Now think about what you would picture if it were better than that. ;)
