Off To Explore

Topic: NaturePoetry

I`m off to explore
My secret world once more
A place where I can escape
Be with nature and relate
Free from those that hate
Gossip, deceive, and castigate
A stroll down a well beaten path
It all brings me so much joy
I just grin and cachinnate
Remembering the days of my youth
An innocent world
I shall explore once more
My secret world is hidden away
Far from the people
That give me chronic dismay
Nature is so beautiful
It brightens one`s day
Warms your spirits
So you can survive another day
I never take this gift for granted
I visit now and then
So as to preserve what I have found
For when I stroll around
I`ll be as quiet
As a tree just planted
In this glorious old world
I`ll take nothing for granted

Very nice James; The line "my secret world is hidden far away from the people who give me chronic dismay" is as amusing as it is heartwarming and innocent(as well as relatable lol).
And the ending, oh if I only knew how to live such a way. Well be thankful, and I/'/ll be thankful that you are, because then if by chance I/'/m unhappy, maybe yours will be contagious. ;)

I enjoyed the seemingly nostalgic aspect yoked to the reverent regard to nature; it seems all at once familiar as the words in a song and uniquely yours...you drew me in and the words implored my own reminiscence.

You had me off to the dictionary! Cachinnate! I love learning new words James!
This is a reveal into the serenity that lies within our reach, if we are willing to seek and embrace it as you have.
You make a space in your heart that nurtures your soul and share it with us! Wish we all knew how to find such solace and comfort in nature. A wonderful testimony to those who look at a garden and lament the weeds!
I could smell the warm earth under your feet and fell the renewal in your spirit. You have infected me with joy. thank you

Beautiful homage to the peace to be found in nature. It quiets the nerves, and calms the heart.

Get a pet dog or two, and you can enjoy nature everyday!
They don/'/t gossip either. 😉
