The chilly breezes of spring
Meandering through the hills and valleys
Of my dreams
The soft flowing fragrances of flowers
Sweeten the senses from within
Golden rays of sunlit days
Warm one/'/s spirits in such a subtle way
I often think of you
In the very same kind of way
Wondering if you ever knew
How true my love
Was for you

Why do we not appreciate what we have until we have lost it? In so many ways we are still children!

But children love unconditionally; believe in magic;
trust; are fearless; and bestow their loyalty without question.
I will stay a child, thank you.
We have loved; We have lost; and that should be the worst problem we ever lament!
Pity those instead who have no one to mourn.

Lovely use of imagery and nature in this James. "Golden rays of Sunlit days" is fantastic! Not to downplay the "Chilly breezes of spring" and their meandering. Wow. It/'/s like a warm water pouring over the chest that isn/'/t noticed right away thanks to some sort of numbing. Very nicely done! :D

//I think I commented on this on SYPDC. Or not. I know I was upset at the time because it is a bold statement // and// moreover her reaction. Yeah, I wasn`t doing anything. UGH!

Anywho, you had no idea and she sure the hell wasn`t going to say anything about the back burner boy.

I`ll remove this comment if you so wish it.

Thanks,

Dugan

All comments are appreciated Tim.
I never commented on my own poem but yes it is true I knew nothing of the situation for which you speak. Now that I do know I/'/m more confused than you...... sorry it hurts......🆗
