[bodytext] => Let me guess what you mean when you say "it/'/s complicated..." You met someone and they were amazing, and told you whatever you needed to hear. They probably said that you were cute, which you liked Because cute isn/'/t as jarring as beautiful or sexy from the mouth of a stranger And you were glad someone other than your mother finally said it. They were someone who laughed at all our jokes and with you, about you. Before that moment you were probably annoyed at all of the other people who had conversations like awkward two steps, stepping over your insecurities. With this person you waltzed, the world was your dance floor. They noticed it all. Even your bitten nails and what made you bite them, but they never asked you what those things were. They didn/'/t have to, you just told them. You did it because you wanted to. The only problem was that they wanted you too. The only problem was that they needed you to tell them. They needed you to need them and you were never comfortable with the idea of polyamory but you wanted this to work and they were good to you otherwise. You thought they just wanted you to try new things they thought would be good for you. so you let them bring someone else into the relationship. You were kind to that person. You never even called them by their real name, (Jealousy) Only by their preferred one (Protector). Because that/'/s the kind of person you were. The kind of person who never had their fortune read because you didn/'/t want to know. The kind that stopped looking into their significant other/'/s eyes because they said danger And you wanted them to be wrong. you thought that maybe they wouldn/'/t clip your wings off the day they looked at you like you with greed filled eyes as though you were an exotic bird if you ignored the pair of Scissors they carried with them. But you were wrong. You barely escaped the bird cage but part of you misses it. Like drugs in an addict/'/s bloodstream you got addicted to each other/'/s need and the highs still there.
