Very deep
below several layers are the words I write
They are from buried emotion
they are someone’s internal fight

Many people quiver
from stained emotions left deep inside
Not knowing how to release them
they only know how to hide

My words are like a medicine
I try to grasp what you fail to see
I try to help you see within
and bring you back to reality

Living our lives
we sometimes forget who we really are
We bury hurt so deep
it drags behind us and we don’t get very far

So I am a poet
it’s my choice and my passion
I try to write such deep words
in a mind gripping fashion

My heart is strong
filled with so much love that’s pure
I pray my words dig deep
and help your emotions to be more secure

Don’t allow your thoughts to lead you blind
thinking reality is the way we live every day
Set yourself free from constant thoughts
may my words be your medicine in such a way
