[bodytext] => Paint a picture of my life
The colors would only be black
The dull useless color that represents sadness
Paint a picture of my face
The color would be blurred
All the tears I have cried for you
Paint a picture of my heart
The colors would be chipped
All the aches I have felt because of you

Draw a picture of my days
They are spent in solitude
Lonely I feel because you left
Draw a picture of my nights
They a spent waiting for your call
Which hardly comes but I still hope
Draw a picture of my strength
Which lessens everyday I think of you

Take a picture of my body
Worn and hungry for your love
Which I want to hear but why don’t I?
Take a picture of my room
You’ll see me in it
Afraid I might miss your call, stupid me
Take a picture of my dreams
They are of another
Someone to give the missing love

Paint a picture of my face
The color would be blurred
Draw a picture of my nights
Spent waiting for your call
Take a picture of my room
You’ll see me in it
I feel foolish to think you love me back
But I still love you
I still hope, dream and wish for your love
Stupid me?

Tell me I’m wrong
Hold me, love me and tell me nice things
Tell me that we will last
Tell me that you love me and mean it
Paint, Draw, and Take a picture of happiness
Cause I can’t seem to do it myself

This poem says volumes for all of us who have felt that helplesness when someone can't or won't love us back. In your pain- you have helped others by writing this
Thank you-aka- Russ
