Array ( [sid] => 182143 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Good Riddance [time] => 2015-11-17 17:42:38 [hometext] => This pre-dates my previous post for those who enjoy chronological order. Five years came to a close and I've finally just cracked open the fresh pages. But I still wanted to share this on here. [bodytext] => When he found me I had already given my heart away
All I had left to offer were my veins
And he took them
Wrapping them around his fingers
His hands
Pulling me in close
Draining my blood and replacing it with poison
Once the poison permeated every inch
He withdrew his hold
He left open wounds and tangled veins
A weak and poisoned body and a mind addicted to the misery

No more

I am getting back my strength
My wounds are stitched shut
I have a hungry vengeance in the pit of my stomach
I take it all back
My heart, my veins, my promises, my love
Put it all back inside of me
Place it under lock and key

Cavity filled
Bags packed
Cares dragging behind me on the dusty floor
I am no one's
I am starting new
If woe weighs your shoulders and you want a piece of me back
I will be in my own wilderness
Should you not find me
It simply means I don't want to be found

Strong and victorious! Just the way it should be. Don't let soul-sucking demons romping as humans have their way with you.

You are of value. Your soul is a puppy-dog looking to you to care for it. Don't abandon such a sacred trust.

Run from that demon-man. Your life demands actions.

Glad you are taking it.

Invierno
