I saw you as a nice girl, you appeared like a Prima Dona
I never really saw you as a bit of lustful meat,
and wanted and waited for us next to meet.
I had to adhere to rules, as we did not meet in the street.

As I wondered how so much about me you knew,
that knowledge only available to the closest few
When we talked I began to wonder, was it that special brew?
But I had to keep a distance and use my will and resistance.

As a friend amongst the few, my fondness for you grew.
I saw the childish you, the woman I noticed too.
You kept secrets too, did not allow me inside you
There was a bit of mystery in regards to your history.

I did not ask and did not bother to get your details
The ones that you gave me ,is what I treasured
your number, your selfie, and the beautiful you
I slowly began to realise that you knew

I know you must have felt something too
I do not believe you would have done this otherwise.
perhaps I did not read that right, and I appologise
if I have erred and that is true.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
