Isi hear you with this one. Love and friendship can be so hurtful. It simply comes down to respect.

Thanks,

Fox

You sound like a lovely person. I have read some other poems you have posted, I lost my parents in 2010 but at the age of 71 and 68 due to Cancer. Within 3 months of each other.
I know what you went through.
I think that you are being a bit hard on your self, your lack of self confidence and a need for love and comfort is evident. You are NOT Worthless, at times people have to distance them selves periodically. Have faith people do come around and others are just waiting to be found. I know how this feels and I am older and wiser, but still feel the same as you do and to top it off I feel so silly and I hated my self for allowing something to get out of control. But then I realized I could not prevent it. Love really hurts. At any age.
