Come what may on a different day.
I just can not make this go away
I simply share the pain if I can not
make it go away.

I know that you will say
“I do not feel the same way”
That is why I must leave you alone,
and go away.

And hope that you have learned a lesson today
'that playing with someones heart
is not a nice game to play.'
So please listen to what I had to say.

As I tried to express my self in a simple linguistic way.
As this reminds me of the song “Yesterday”
Where all my troubles seemed so far away
but now it appears as though
they are here to stay.

So please leave me with my
languish and pain.
As I struggle to keep my
dignity and my sanity,
and fight to have it
remain.
Oh, the pain
this pain.

I see in your words the wisdom of experience.
If love hurts, it isn't love. It is something else, need, obsession, lust, loneliness, insecurity...
The person that hurts you does not love you, and the person that does, never will.
Thank you for expressing that difference in such a familiar way. You have taken us all for a meandering journey to learn that we need not confuse what we want with what we have found.
