Wires crossed
all wrong
bulbs burnt out
blown fuses
burnt smell in
the air
Da#n Heart on
Sleeve again
It still isn't fully
repaired from the
last time I choose
to wear it out there.
Considering going out
on A

To the Fair
Me?!
actually going
somewhere
Instead of
locking down
within 4 walls
blowing thick
clouds into the air
Stuck
Pipe Drunk,
eyes like
dinner plates,

Really cool!

"actually going
somewhere
Instead of
locking down
within 4 walls
blowing thick
clouds into the air"

Been there, brother. Still am, sometimes. I like this poem, and am surprised no comments.

I also like that you aren't hemmed in by 'rules' or conventions of word placement.

I'll be reading more of your shares.

Way to go,

Invierno

Stark, striking, and delivered in fine style. Yep, the old 40 yard stare. Know it well.

This is really interesting, because I started of reading at a slower pace because the smaller lines implied it to me, but with every line it picked up faster like a small rock turning to into a giant snowball.

I wish I knew what the 40 yard stare is... The only thing I can think is just zoning out. That I can definitely relate to. The "space cadet".
