She died today. She’s gone away. No longer can you find her;
She’ll not write here, or comment there. She left you far behind her.

No good-byes, no time for sighs, too soon fate closed the door;
Everything you may have said will never come to fore.

this gets inside my mind. I gave my mother years of care, and for the last two years I saw her fall into dementia. My siblings came down in the last days, and I went home for a bath. Believe it or not, after all those years, I got a call: mum has gone.
