Array ( [sid] => 18181 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => A graduates good-bye. [time] => 2003-05-29 01:25:00 [hometext] => I wrote this for my sisters favorite teacher to read to her for graduation. [bodytext] => The goals I have reached,
come from the things you have teached.
and the lessons I have learned,
show the appreciation you have earned.
You helped me meet those extra lengths,
and taught me more with all your strengths.
Many people come and then part,
but you'll remain, because you were my start.
You were the one who got me here,
and helped me through these short three years.
I thank you for helping me to strive,
so I could gain a little more pride.
In the years to come in my life ahead,
I will remember the things you have said.
You have taken a place inside my heart
that I will be sure, will never part.
When I may struggle, and not want to care
I will keep going because you were there.
You are the teacher I have come to adore,
because you inspired me to do much more.
The choices I made might have been wrong,
but you were there to push me along.
My future will reach its highest stakes,
because your were there to help with my mistakes.
My future I hope will show what you have won,
For all the gratitude I have for what you've done.
To many students you will repeat,
the many lessons that you teach.
All I can say is I hope they mean as much or more,
And I hope you guide them to what their future has in store.
You helped me see the better things through and through,
And for all of this all I can say is "Thank You".
