I may have an aged and crippled body
but through my veins blood does still flow
It seems I am a bother to you
and you’re ready for me to go

You may not feed me
or realize I have a thirst
The tears of sadness I cry
will make my bladder burst

To drink my tears
fills the hunger from being starved
These memories of all of this
in your mind shall be carved

Fret not my child
I forgive you for your shame
I am your one and only mother
just remember my name

Sadness and sorrow
create this silence I am in
I am sorry to have burdened you
soon a new journey I will begin

I will leave this body
the broken vessel that it may be
I will find peace and happiness elsewhere
where ever my spirit decides to take me

It’s your turn
take my sorrow and feel my pain
It is now yours
I hope it doesn’t make you go insane
