Every day we taste life
it is ever so bitter sweet
The flavor changes
with everyone we meet

Blind ambitions
like an apple not far from a tree
Some people will try to fool
not realizing what we can see

Carrying a smile
I keep life at it’s simple best
If I can manage it
maybe others too, should give drama a rest

The flavor of the day
Pineapple sure would do
Change your ambitions
and allow true sweetness through

Life is short
so try and carry a smile
Don’t let your flavor be sour
by being in denial

Every day can be sweet
it’s all about the ingredients you add
So smile and be happy
and your ambitions won’t be bad

Every day we taste life
it is ever so bitter sweet
The flavor changes
