There is no unity
where no words can be spoken
and the frail and the lonely are horribly broken.

No community
where a man sees his brother
sunken to canning and driven to drinking.

Where is then our continuity?
Lost in a dream. lost in a dream.

Like the muntinous ship
at the bottom of the sea
We shall be bereaved. We shall be bereaved!
Whether by the gun or the loss that we see
We shall be reprieved. We shall be reprieved!
Its the shadow of things that we all have seen
A nightmare we dream. A nightmare we dream,
and all because there''s no unity

Who runs to the cause of the frail and the lost?
who bears the tempest to pay the cost?
who dies to save what a savior saves?
Who shall remain. Who shall remain?
Who bears his soul to encourage the lonely?
who sees past the scars to uphold the homely?
Shout I! Shout I! who do not bereft
and scorn the lowly by their discontent!
A storm of corspes for the world to see!!
We shall be reprieved. We shall be reprieved!!!
Whether by gun or the loss that we see.!!
we shall be reprieved. We shall be reprieved!
All because there is no unity.

Ah so great. I'm glad you posted this. I think people will appreciate the strong solemn tone I feel it carries incredibly well. It's preachy, but for an undeniable sense of righteousness. It's undeniably good. :)

Archie, I love this one. The emotion leaps off the page big time. This put a fire in your belly and it shows. Well done.
