this reads almost like a song with the chorus changing slightly each verse. Very cool.

Your style of writing this seems like she is making a laundry list of the reasons she left--in case she ever weakens in her resolve!
People become such a habit. A list can keep us focused until time does its healing, and the last tie is severed.
I enjoyed this very much.
