I owe you an apology
for behaving badly
when I ought not to have
burned by a passion
that only I had
not shared with anyone
'cept for you, once,
when a slip of the tongue
a poem read out loud
from my heart
split your world
in a confusion
that should not have occurred

humbly
beg
your forgiveness

I liked that poem also. It is a shame the Blue Angel Award is only for a touching or inspiring theme poem and not for an open theme.
