this pretend alive

so hard to surrender
this endless wait
this monster want
this clueless hate
this dark supernova
this standard fate
this fast unwinding
this thorn bent straight

What i see in it, since you asked.

recovery and desire for a return.
the questioning of whether it's worth it.
is life without it better, or worse.
to run from or hide from the hearse.

I like it. For me it is the start of a song about seeing God's perspective. You have a very pleasing style.
