"Painting mental murals on an empty wall.."
What a powerful statement.
Writing with the imagination!
It is the wanderings of the mind that bring us back to "paint new pictures".
Or is it those same wanderings that led us astray in the first place?
The brain wanders and the body follows. Therefore, safer by far to have a nightmare than a daydream!
In my case, the blank wall has endless possibilities--the painted wall is the end of creativity.

Exactly. Since everyone has a different perspective, it's like having a bunch of unique pictures to look at - like everyone's story made into pictures.

I like this one. Great write.

It's so true that life is an evolving piece of art that has so many layers to it. A beautiful collection of memories and experiences. You've captured a bit of magic here and it was fun to read.
Great job

Murals are only truly painted when the wall is worth saving

They those murals tell others a story

About why
Peace!

No matter how far we travel, we end up with ourselves!
I like the journey from"painting mental murals on an empty wall" to coming back to
"Paint new pictures on my new wall"

Sometimes getting away from ourselves makes us appreciate what we have; like coming home after a vacation to the old familiar place. To paint again on a new wall!
