==========

homicidal moon, suicidal sun
one that shouldn't be,
one staring at a gun.
one that bleeds and that one
feeds the other one...
one will watch it burn,
one will wane and wither.
one.

run from the moon,
fly into the sun.
don't ever look back
or the stars become undone...
run as if you can't see believing anyone.
everyone is leaving.
the deceiving days?
they're done...

done for. dying...dead.
the dark, it fades. the dawn has won.
yet down the footsteps fall,
the endless walk breaks into a run.
away the whispers wander,
choking on those withered tongues
while the homicidal moon mourns
the suicidal sun.

Amazing poetry, so full of life and superb imagery. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and feel inspired to write something as juicy as this piece. Wonderful!

well done! Lots of energy and drive in this story! A quick read, but one that begs to be read again!
Love the musical quality enhanced by reading it out loud as you suggest.
Wish we had some music to go with it!
