I knew that I had to start running or I wouldn't be alive anymore.
That guy said "You must be crazy, a lion can't be outran".
But I didn't have to outrun the lion, I had to outrun that man.
The lion caught up to that man and ate him.
I was faster, that's why he met a fate so grim.
If I had been slower, I would've been that lion's dinner.
But I was very determined, that's why I was the winner.
If you and another person hear a lion, you'd better put on your running shoes.
And you'd better pray that you're faster or your life will be something you'll lose. I'd just shoot it.

Wow, 546 poems on here now. 546!!!! That's a lot of poems.

So, I have a question for you. Why is it that you apparently only know how to write poems, but barely know how to read them?

I shall quote a good YPDC buddy:

"You may think you are the world's gift to poetry but most likely you are not because if all you care about is your own writes then you're missing the big picture."

It is definitely not Randy Johnson dot com. It's a community of poets, not a community of poet!

How about instead of just coming here to post your maximum poems a day, without commenting, put some of that time aside and read/comment on some of our other talented poets here at ol' YPDC. There is talent a plenty here. You haven't paid any of our other nice poets any deserved attention in eight freaking years.

Could you imagine if we were all like this, just posting poems like you do and not reading them, how messed up is that? It doesn't make sense to simply write but not read and share your thoughts.

Thanks,

Tim
