became concave
seeming like such a chore just to try and breath.
emptiness creeps through my soul
but yet not empty at all
with thunderstorms and earthquakes
roaring through my bones.
maybe I知 just a little
lost.
behind my smile is everything
you値l never understand
then again
inside my cluttered chaotic mind
is everything I値l never understand.
my thoughts are a ship
that crashed at sea
whom the victims just drown
although there is comfort
found in the coldness
bottom
of the ocean ground.
I知 trapped in a cage
behind my grave is just where
the key lays.
I myself am a
murderer
help me escape
the woman I see staring back at me.
teach me how to flee from
sadness
when in it lives within my
veins.
this flesh that covers
my aching bones feels like
suffocation
the only way to release pressure
is to open.
Upon my skin
a masterpiece was made
it paints a picture of my
pain
the stories I cannot explain.
I知 scared to death on this
battlefield
I知 not even sure whats
wrong
with me anymore.
Maybe part of the problem is
nobody ever told me how hard
it is to overcome the addiction of
destroying
yourself.
my head is the one
screaming for help
on the outside I want
someone to notice for
themselves.
listen closely because
silence
is my most powerful
scream for
help.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ツゥ
