Array ( [sid] => 181043 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => You [time] => 2015-04-23 01:14:00 [hometext] => The point is to be able to replace YOU with whatever applies to yourself. :) Enjoy! [bodytext] => Forced to sleep on the bare dirt with nothing but my haunting past and
A wall to block my view of the stars,
I lie awake thinking of You.

You stripped me of my identity and
Bathed me under the moon,
You never let me see the sun.

You took my future and shook it apart with such eruption
That I now fear the
Passing seconds.

Who are you to say that you control the forces?

You can’t leash a hurricane or teach a volcano to be still
But you can sure stick me in my cage and tell me
Who I am.

I refuse to dance to your thunder and
Bow to your lightning
I refuse to jump in the pit of lava at your demand.

I will not bend my windbreaker at the sound of your whistle,
Or shelter from the storm under your redwood
And above anything..,

I will not be you.

While you control the forces of nature to your liking
I aim to create energy from the
Lightning you threw at me.

I will build wall from the houses your winds destroyed
And reservoir the world’s tears that
You induced.

You are the deepest trenches of the oceans and
The darkest pits of the caverns, and
The last breath Man will ever take.

You will kill us all.

You were the rise of man, but in the end
You are the fallacy,
You are the rules.

And I will break the rules.

I will break You.
