I particularly liked the line
"Every moment is a heaving hoe"
Something about that just hooked my attention even more.
Quite an impacting poem in a short space of words.
Great write

Steve

this would be good on a bag of McDonald's
fast food
"what do they mean, how long is this food good for if you keep it refrigerated, when there's no date of expiration written on the box containing the McNuggets", thought the inquisitive little girl.
Peace!

My favorite line is your fitting conclusion that "negativity may leave you with likewise belongings"..
We may not reap what we sow..but somebody will!
All the "luck" you ever enjoyed came from seeds that someone else nurtured..
"positivity can rain amongst the fledglings" is a quick reminder to leave more than we take, give more than we get, water, nurture, and teach your gifts to the curious!
Everything we know-- someone took the time to teach us. Here, in swift perfection, is a reminder to take the time to rain on the fledglings!
