You begin with silence, paint the scene, draw us into your moment, and like a skilled conductor, you orchestrate the chorus into uproarious pandemonium!
This is lovely, and very vivid. Techicolor words, with stereophonic sound!
Makes me want to stand up and clap!
"A moment of quiet reflection" indeed!"
More, please?

Where I work there is a pond nearby. Sometimes when it rains really hard, all the frogs come out hop around the parking lot. Me and a friend always go around and gather all the frogs so that they don't get run over. :) Frogs have always been one of my favorite animals. I have always loved to sit and listen to nature.

This poem sort of reminds me of one of my favorite songs.. The Sound Of Silence.. Only your silence is interrupted.. Those little buggers!! LOL.... Nice imagery...

Crickets cackled outside my hotel room last night. Funny how this is my first read of the day.

Hi Nessa,
Makes me wish I was back home sitting around the lake with a fire burning and listening to everything around me. This was beautifully written as always.
