The crack in our ceiling and the disillusion of language
Where sane souls need not to make the sunlight brighter
They who do not demand more from love indulge
The poetic lie of the crack and the non-existent floor

Diminished to blabbering idiots under the scrutiny of the public eye
Where the drunks are gods and the sane kneel down in admiration
Envious of the haunting imperfection of words unfit
This new reality what is it but a growing ugliness of the mind
Where words are born and thoughts go to die

NO,NO, NO,NO NO. Beautifully cynical, but no. The floor is solid, trust me. Step this way, and feel the firmness beneath your uncertain(sure) feet. Poetic gods are always at least three sheets to the wind, and beneath that troubled wind: thoughts never die. x

I feel there are two tunnels
side by side they sit
From one comes the East Side train
traveling West
Into the other goes the West Side train
traveling East
And you sit on the bridge looking down upon
them

Indulging the passerby
In solitude
only
won't just do

Peace!

I was a bit confused in which direction you were taunted with your words, but we shall never know, as your thoughts have gone to a cynical death! Not sure if you slam poetic gesture or you embrace it with sharp words to tear the mere skin of the un-poetic manifestations in the world. Either way, you have grasped each reader with a passion of the unknown! Great job!

Rip these words right out of our dirty souls. Love.
