You who read our work each day
You comfort and encourage our hearts
By the things you say
Every poet needs to hear
Comments on their word
And without you friends
Crippling silence is heard
But when you choose a poem
Comment on what you see
You inspire a grateful heart
Treat it graciously
For after all their words
Are written for me and you
All because your heart
