Booooom
or so you thought you heard
The sky suddenly turned dark
your vision has become instantly blurred

No chance to run
no chance to grab loved ones and hide
Having learned survival skills
no time for any rules to abide

Fearful in a second
everything destroyed
No chance for survival
everything within miles has become void

Nuclear holocaust upon you
no warning and no given sign
Was it an accident
or a button pushed from a person so asinine

Either way
it is certainly to late
Everything destroyed forever
it is our very own constructed fate

No more generations
to follow and change the damage we have done
No more life here
nothing will grow as there is no shining sun

Nuclear destruction
Because of science and inventions of our past
It gave the people of this world too much power
the detonation took the life of everything just so fast

Why can’t we change our ways
regress societies nuclear infiltration
Go back to horse and buggy
give society peace and naturalization

Hi there

No one wins in war POINT!! Man kind does not have the wisdom to see the error of its ways. We are to self centred and arrogant for that. For this reason I believe this world will perish in fire. You highlight this so well in your poem. Great write. God bless and God help us all!

Greetings
Rus
