And then from side to side.
My hair whips with a sonic boom,
In futile efforts to keep up

I can't get my self to leave,
The confines of my head.
So maybe if I slam the brakes,
I'll come out the other side... [comments] => 5 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 43 [informant] => xHeathenx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Slamming brakes generally works for me. Sound advice.

I do just the opposite. I try to keep others out of my head but, they still keep trying to get in there.

Enjoyable poem.

Thank you,

Tim

Quirky and a little off the wall.
Nevertheless, it works for me!!!
If a poem can make you smile after a brutal week, it is a job well done.

It makes me think of times I have tried to snap out of a daydream. ....... Vic
