And his skin is covered in too much ink
He likes to drink with the boys
Down at the pub
And he's getting a belly
Coz he loves his grub
If you saw him coming you'd run a mile
But he could melt iron with his cheeky smile
He's not one for the gym or keeping fit
And in the looks department
He ain't no Brad Pitt
He's down to earth and works hard
At his job
He's got no airs and graces
And no time for snobs
People told her marrying him
Would be a big mistake
She said "I'm happy with mince
Instead of steak"
He's her soul mate friend and lover
And you shouldn't judge a book
By its cover
She kept to her vows to love and to hold
He's a gentle giant with a heart of gold. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 155 [topic] => 16 [informant] => Kimmy79 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )

Nice. A sweet sentiment of two, or even three people expressed in a poem. I'd say impressive. :)
