Magnet Pale Ale bought from the club.
He snores, a familiar sound.
Dickie Davies peering at us through a convex screen.
Wrestling is forever fixed, entertainment from a lost generation.
Spurs lost again.
Golden Virginia stains the air.
Ashtray is central.
He was dreaming about his time at sea, his forever wife.
Football results followed by news followed by Hasselhoff.
He never knew how much time he had left.
Protect the young; hide them from harm they told her.
But be mindful, young minds are curious.
Holding back will only raise more questions at a later date.
Dad is dead
Part of me will be forever ten years old.

That's quite interesting that you said "part of me will be forever ten years old". I Found myself relating to that line. My Dad died when I was eight and that part of me will forever be eight years old.

Nicely done and photo 1036153111_gif.gif to YPDC.

Hello,

Nicely written and very meaningful! I too can relate to this, but from another aspect. When i was a small child, i was my dads best friend, but when i was a teen, something changed, so a part of me is still that child remembering when i was my dads best friend.

Thank you for sharing!

Wayne
