it shine's red and green alternating with pure white
none of the others act in this way

I have actually. Makes me think of a flare, a jet, or even the little song, twinkle twinkle little star. Chances are, now that I think about it, it could be Mars or Venus, though that thought is practically conjecture. Going to look into it though.
Also, quite enjoyable how you take something of happenstance in your every day life and make it funny. Lol

It could be aliens, or a practice run for all those people going to Mars.
I've always been fascinated by the stars, perhaps because I know I will never be able to go to any of them
