crumpled up
and discarded
like someone's
piece of trash
Used up
Empty
Just a shattered piece
of broken glass

Keep stuffing the rubbish
on top of me
Keep pushing
me down
Bag up all the rancidness
Toss my carcass
to the ground

Left out on
the curb
Lonely
Waiting to be
gathered
Someone's piece of trash
Just garbage
So much
useless matter

Aw, this is sad, Laurabeam! :( It's very unfortunate that such well-written poetry must come from something that is so unhappy. But remember the old saying (which I believe to be true): "One man's trash is another man's treasure". (Or woman, whatever fits, right).

I'll bet all of us can relate to this feeling of being disposable but sorry you have to go through it.

*hugs*

Love,

Timbro

One of the many lows we come to experience on our road to self-growth and development. Never fear, for the future always has the chance for a better day, and better outlook. You just gotta remember, good and bad go hand-in-hand. If you expect the worst and find the best, you'll expect it to end soon, and never savor it. If you expect the best, and experience the worst, it'll put you lower than you'd ever want to be. Moderation is key. Of course this is my opinion, so grain of salt when considering me. :)

I think we've all felt like this sometimes.
Life is hard, it has no script, no rehearsal, no acolades for just living it.
Somehow you have to find that inner strength

Very emotive piece, it really struck a chord. This is not a good feeling at all, but it is important to know you are a treasure to many, and someone, somewhere is hoping to find you.

Hang in there.
