It's truly astonishing.
While standing there polishing.
All your crystal and silverware.
No no no I dare not dare.
Say I don't have money for bread and milk.
While you dress in satin and silk.
Yet you say you're struggling.
So just how is it you're struggling?
Are you struggling to maintain your lifestyle?
Has the economic crunch robbed you of your smile?
You live in a million dollar beach house.
And no you wouldn't make it as a church mouse.
To you being poor is a disgrace.
For a pauper is excluded from the human race.

Let me tell you about my life.
I have an amazing wife.
And she doesn't need diamonds and pearls.
But when we dance she loves to be twirled.
There are nine kids in my world.
No not oh my word.
I surely didn't father them all.
Yet I am father to them all.
We don't live in a gigantic house.
But we're not quite as broke as a church mouse.
I have permanent employment.
It pays the bills and change for enjoyment.

So now I ask whom would you rather be.
You in you mansion or simple old me?
Now I don't deny one needs cash.
Yet too much could cause a clash.
A clash between wrong and right.
Or even cold to another's plight.
I know a millionaire.
Sometime I see him stare.
And wondered what it is he searched for.
Only to realise happiness ain't knocking at his door.
Therefore I'm happy with who I am.
Broke yet a happy man.
For the riches I own.
Is set in stone.
When I die.
I can take them with on high.

it always baffles me when someone is never satisfied
and always wants more- i chose a simple life, in nature,
recently someone said to me: ''how can you live like
this?'' {non city life} i said it's my choice as is your own,
who is happier? i say me lol,

hugs n' love nessa
