The chatter hits the screen, lies flood the soil.
Boots on the ground as the band plays those golden oldies of pop porn propaganda.
Religion the blame as those who seek chaos hide behind rose colored ties.
Feeding us low stocks to keep the wolves at pay.
Blaming the acts of a few on the backs of the many.
An enemy stuck in the pyramids eye.

Presidents marching to slogans of peace while waterboarding becomes mainstream.
Playing the hypocrite for a global view.
Marxist in the back singing songs of loyal union dues,
Blaming the bankers in the back for IOU's.
Twisted news like bad dance hits from the Seventies.
Staying alive while we trample barely alive.

And the road still forks me.
The serpents still provokes me.
Lies never tasting so sweet.
Talking heads and sabers rattle.
All for the profit of today.
Forgetting the bitter taste of yesterday.
That hill we climbed so high.

With all that is said and done.
Wars that never cease.
Round and round skipping chalk lines on the ground.
The bodies line the coffee shops.
All for 15 minutes of low fat fame.
Without a hint of irony for those who are as lost as me.

Well expressed. Too bad so many will not understand, still. Kudos, to you.
