Back to the woods, so I can hear the song
The song kept me at peace when I couldn't see straight
But now that its gone it doesn't sedate...
me anymore

I need to go back to the woods where I ran
Where I could dance freely, sit or stand
The here and now where I am is not where I want to be
I want to move, I want to dance, I want to see

I need to go back to the friend I left behind
I left her there in the woods; I hope she's still there to find
We saw the world as black and white and everything in between
Pink, orange, yellow, maroon, and even green

I need to go back and live among the tree's
Back to my very primal urge so I can be free
I need to swing from the trees and be in the dirt
I need to go back so I can find what im worth [comments] => 1 [counter] => 100 [topic] => 19 [informant] => FireStarter [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

So amazing!
I would love to do that myself.
Always looking at beautiful pictures of the nature on pinterest.
I hope to one day experience it myself.

I hope you'll go back there some day - and live your life as you want

Thank you for sharing.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
