even though, at times it may seem
You shouldn't hide within yourself
living your life without living your dream

Nothing holds you back
other than the walls you build so high
It’s about time you tear them down
and stop yourself from being so very shy

The life you live
you only live it and it’s gone
You can choose to win the game
or allow others to claim you as a pawn

Life can be a battle
every day is not a guarantee
Make the best choices you can
when from your shell you start to flee

Do not be afraid
stand tall and be proud of who you are
Nothing is impossible
allow your dreams to take you far

I like this a lot. Your poem can be paired with this excerpt from one of my poems:

"I know that you feel tired
you feel you can't go on
the water keeps on rising
just be calm
When you're fighting sin you're winning
When you're weak he makes you strong
'til the storm is gone
til the storm is gone
now the storm is gone."
