and still they stand up.
Throwing bricks and stones,
to armed soldiers.

Their longing for freedom,
born out of desire to claim their birthright:
Love
Life
and happiness.

Soldiers guard the Palestine people,
Walls are suppose to hold them back.
And still they remember their birthright:
To be free to experience
Love,
Life
and happiness.

Shadows are cast of a distant past,
remember the holocaust they say.
Why do they repeat the past,
they so dread themselves?

Do they not long for:
love
life
and happiness themselves too?

Guarding it at gunpoint,
how little do they care about the children of Palestine.
Such a gruesome faith,
to repeat the past.

Who will redeem them,
perhaps the merciful one?
The one of the Palestine people,
that would grant,
love
life
and happiness for all?

Only one heartbreak away,
from shooting holes in the walls.
Surrounding peoples hearts and minds perhaps.
One day we will see for sure,
who's hearts are truly pure.

Until then we all will have to endure,
the heartbreak.
But only the heartbreak,
will tear down these walls around peoples hearts and minds it seems.

And only the heart can truly mend the fence,
in the name of the merciful one. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 202 [topic] => 14 [informant] => boomking [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )

little kids throwing rocks
the eviction is their lot
They just sit kids
A noble man never tells a lie
Why is that
Why is this
I don't know I wish I did

I've been on this track for quite a long
long time. They move in take over
the holy lands, the lands where people
innocent people live.
And they close them off.
So they can feel safe.

And we *the US government) give the state of Israel
money each year for this.

Peace!
