Come to me, all those who suffer broken hearts.
For I, Compassion will give rest, and respite. I shall mend that heart until it is fit enough to love unconditionally again.

I shall do this for you any and every time you need it,
for I, Compassion demands this so.

To the Forgotten, I shall remember you.
For I, Compassion will always want to speak with you. I shall try my best to bright your mood. I will make sure to make the little things you’re into seem like big things to me. I will spend the time when others wouldn’t bother.

I shall do this for you every and any time you need it,
for I, Compassion demands this so.

Speak to me those who are misunderstood.
For I, Compassion will try my best to make you understood. Your ways are not the ways of the common. I would want the chance to show those who would bother to try and understand, so at the very least some peace from stares you’ll have.

I shall do this for you any and every time you need it,
for I, Compassion demands this so.

If you would Devalue me, reject me, and/or hurt me.
It will not be good for you. Whenever and where you expect to find me, I won’t be there.
That may be fine for a while but you will miss the warmth. You will miss my comforting nature. You will miss the quiet ear and soft emotion.

But if forgiveness is asked and it is sincere…. these things shall be returned with excited looks and a quiet fervor.

This is how it is, how it has been, and how will be now and to eternity,
for I, Compassion demands this so. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 111 [topic] => 48 [informant] => BumpyJ [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Hey Bumpy J, you wrote a very nice poem here!
I did enjoy it immensely, I did as though it were written, For I, or me.
I or me, we think we singular as in I, as in I did enjoy it.

This reads like prayers to St. Anthony...
Compassion is a magical thing really
An object to hold onto and never let go of.

There is great wisdom in your writing here.

Thank you!

Peace!
