he gave me the freeze-
psychic vampyre pleased.
thought i'd let it ride
while i died inside,

he took me for granted-
i thought he was my mate,
now he pays no attention
that's the equation.

but he should take heed
love itself is a need,
in humans it softens...
but to my chagrin;

his words i condoned
my mind was blown,
my love was spurned
didn't matter i burned.

my heart was broke
by an untruthful bloke,
this just isn't right
i hope he sleeps tight.

It is so sad that he hurt you this way. I know you will write again just not right now and as a friend I will respect your feelings and not beg you to stay. I loved this poem anyway.

Don't give up Nessa ... you'll find words again one day, you just need some time out to cope with your emotions. Just know that we are here if ever you need to talk ... love and hugs Jan

Dearest Ness....you know how much I hope you would not leave home.... we have both been here for so long and I will miss your presence here, BUT I also know how much you're hurting... and if you need some space, I understand. Take a rest and come back and thrill us with your great work.
Love you, grrlfriend.

I am sorry to see you go Nessa. You are a wonderful poet and an even better friend. You have made me smile with your caring and thoughtful posts. It hurts me that you are in such agony and I wish there were something I could do or say to make all your pain just disappear. Trust me friend, your wounds will eventually heal even though it feels like they never will.

Always remember you have a wonderful and supportive family who loves you. Remember all your friends here at YPDC who care deeply about you. Remember your Woofies who love you unconditionally and will never leave your side.

Never give up on your poetry, Dear nessa, your flow may have been disrupted but you will get it back and find that it's the best way to let your feelings out even if noone else reads it.

YPDC won't be the same, I hope you find the will to return with more of your "from the heart" poetry.

Yvonne

What a load of self pity
I read from my city
I sit here forlorn
For the world has beaten my ladyfawn

Wish i were there
And to sing your praises i dare
To help bring those pleasures
That all of us treasure

Ladyfawn
Get back here and write
You make us all feel bright
Like the sun in the night
I look forward to your light.
Truely !!!

Ah, don't worry ya' all. She's hollerin' at me to leave her alone and let her write (she finally got rather angry instead of sad, and thus this poem I think.), and she was editing a poem again this morning (when I got yelled at, took her about a half an hour to convince her to help me get a bracelet on) so hopefully Mom is getting back to writing. (I hope. Her muses might just have to be dragged out of the closet and starved 'til they give her inspiration. Or they might get a good old fashioned a$$ whoopin'.)

But anyway, Mom, I'm glad to see that you wrote somethin' this morning. I think that you should take everyone's advice and take a break for a while if you honestly need it, but this poem was good as always. It's good to see you at that computer tellin' me to hush and let you think again, missed it when you just sort got all frustrated and all when I'd say somethin'...

Well, Mom,

I knew you would just have to come and see
What your poetry writing has done to me
I'm going to keep kicking your muses in the butt
If you still can't do it their dinners I'll cut

No matter whatever went on in our lives
You've always been a beautiful writer in my eyes
You have always been there to encourage me
And not let me quit writing so now you must see

I miss you writing and telling me to hush
It doesn't have to be today there is no rush

But it's time to be happy and know we love you
And poetry writing is what your meant to do

You've always been my creative writing
Mom full of hugs and smiles
You have loved, encouraged
and cared for me all the while
Your my friend to talk with
and see me through my years
So pick up your pen with your heart I know you hear

Well Mom, if from you my poem has no comment
Your muses and you I will be here to torment!

*Evil grin*

Anyways, love ya.

Mara
xoxo

(By the way, I've been working on this [Almost impossible to write!] and it was sort of a thing to get you to come back... hopefully it'll work.)
