Well before Judas breathed open air,
before Galilee waters became as land,
mayhap 'fore earth revolved even once,
Iscariot the soul, destiny damned.
The sticky wicket, if God is pure love,
what did poor Judas do, to so earn his role?

Moderator, so sorry, but you removed the wrong poem. THIS is the one I wanted removed, and 'God's Shortest Straw' left up. This was the first one posted.

Wow, this is something I have often reflected on as well. Like Moses who was not granted entry for striking a rock after dealing with whiny ***** for 40 years. read acts 4:27. It appears from the text that God predetermined the men and way Jesus would be killed. Like it wasn't a choice on the part of Herod and Pontius Pilate, or Judas for that matter. Great write here. very thought provoking. certain dogmas won't let me think certain things, working on that too

I find this a very interesting poem.

I often wondered where our free will ends because it does seem like our souls come here with a 'plan' if you will.
Some things WILL happen to you because that was decided upon before we got here...
