We start out innocent one and all

Then we learn to stand on our own,
We begin to show how much we've grown

We will stand for our ideals
We will stand and fight
No matter if we're put against a wall
We will stand firm one and all

For what we believe in what we hold true
There is nothing you can do
You can throw me back down
You can try and put me out

But my resolve will burn on
Everything will be alright
Even if you catch me on my run for glory
You can break me legs I know my story

I still stand for my ideals
Even as I return as I was
Crawling through the mud

Everything will be alright
My dream does not die with me here
Someone will finish my race

But I will not back down
Even in the end
I will fight because
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,"
My Resolve makes me strong,
My God even if I don't understand Him
Will lead me along the right path

Really friend..This is a very very inspriring write
So many bold lines indeed...
And this one is so true for me as well
"My God even if I don't understand Him
Will lead me along the right path"

I really loved this, it seems in our world today many are just following blind, following a crowd and not standing to their convictions. I also loved the end, pulling from Psalms...My favorite scripture.

Hugs
