to put the words in actions
you said there was no reason to.

Because those words,
as rich in meaning,
as they might have been,
they never included any intention of a realisation.

But to me love, that is ok.
Because at the end of my days,
when I am laying in my bed looking at the ocean,
waiting for my ride to peace,
my heart will still be full of love for you and my head full of memories of us.

And even if the us I wanted was never the us that I got,
it was still a you and me which had been all I needed.
So now my love I'm letting go.

My dear. My darling.
My sweet you now can go.

And on that last day, before I go to live in the gardens of Eden,
do not say good bye, do not look back.

Keep going until you find the one,
the one to fill your heart and head, like you filled mine.
And have no regrets about it my love.

You deserve your own love and memories of you and her,
to take with you when you go find the peace you want.
