Thank you for letting me know that. I wrote this poem some years ago. A young lady who lived near me passed away suddenly. She left behind a little boy with blue eyes. That is who this poem is about. It was posted on the old Your_Poetry site, and on my web pages. I know that my Aunt passed it around but, I didn't know how far it went.
Could it have been under my name - Diana Primus? I use the pen name Thorn M Engla. |

| I really love this poem & since my mothers death it really touched me! My children who didnt understand why their "OMA "(Grandma)had to leave,enjoyed the poem as well & even made us cry. I love writing poetry Especially when I put it in the eyes of my children! |

My mother was kidnapped by her husband and most likely murdered when I was eleven years old. I am fighting back tears cause if I start crying I won't be able to stop - This is beautiful.......Thanks for sharing!

| I got shivers up my spine and goosebumps on my entire body when I read this. My aunt recently died and left a four-year-old blue-eyed little girl with only her dad. Great write, extremely emotional. |

I followed the link off the home page and just listened to the recording of this! Congratulations!!! I imagine you must be delighted!!!!
The lyrics themselves are touching and obviously quite sad. I cannot, though, help but feeling uplifted by having listened to the song. As a lover of art and artists, poetry and poets and most notably right now - songs and songwriters - I find your achievement thrilling and inspirational!! I sooo wish it was possible to listen to a similar recording of ALL of the lyrics on this site! There are so many that do so entirely merit recording and a wider audience than is found here. I do so hope that all of the songwriters on this site notice that link on the homepage and realize that this is possible for them as well. You're a terrific example of the fabulous things that can happen if you never give up a dream and commit yourself to making it come true!

But for an adult or adult-minded person to recreate the same emotional atmosphere requires an orginality of imagination. And in a world where orginalality is lost and imagination tends to be bleak, that is not easy. Well imagined. |

| I broke down reading this. My mother died over a year ago when i was 15. There wasnt anything in the world i wouldnt trade god to have her hand just one more time or hear her tell me to go to bed or get off the computer.
