Kidnapped By My Thoughts

Contributed by waynster on Wednesday, 10th December 2014 @ 05:02:34 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Locked up within the walls of these thoughts
they keep closing in on me day by day
A little confused of their point
staying silent is how I choose to stay

Wandering around
looking hideous to society as a whole
Not sure how I got where I am
just caught up in a mind full of thoughts and no goal

Clothes all tattered and torn
have not had a bath in so many days
Why do my thoughts cause such confusion
that hurts me in so many ways

If only I could clear my head
allowing words to pass over my tongue
To break the barriers of these walls
while I still am young

Time is of the essence
I search for the key to this room of confusion
Time to tear down the walls
the walls made with so many thoughts that create illusion

No longer wanting to live like this
broken and silent from my ways within
Feeling free from those thoughts
a brand new life I can begin

Still young
a long life yet belongs to me
No longer just wandering in ragged clothes
my silence is no more, I have set myself free

Opening up to others
society is now my friend
My inner thoughts are flowing
being locked within myself has come to an end
