I couldn't bring myself to wear my mask,
I hadn't realised how long it had been,
How many people would ask,
My real face doesn't look the same,
The smile isn't there,
Not in the mood for games,
I'm just going to do my work today,

An honest and well written verse.I think many of us wear our masks because for whatever reason our society today tells each of us we aren't enough just the way we are.Time for a change isn't it??

A very honest write and so true, even if no one admits it..at some point we all may have worn a mask and not even known it...awesome poem.....loved it
