Humbled to felt a range of emotions, happy, sad, surprised, and distraught
I've walked tall, had my tail between my legs, and my pride has been shattered
For I know as long as I'm around, things are going to happen

Been advised by friends and family over and over again
Life is a series of fleeting moments, flashes in the pan
So keep calm, don't worry, fill your mind with peace and assurance
Pick and choose your battles, sometimes go with the currents

Life may be marred with ups, downs, and incessant jealousies
And forgiveness is the one thing that gets the goat of your enemies
When you're bruised and battered, It will be water under the bridge
But not with a snap of the fingers, for it takes time to forgive

To get to finish line, go fast, by pretty please row slowly
And always keep within your heart the spirit of The Holy
Affirm, and affirm positive outcomes at the beginning of each day
Do what you do, no matter what the detractors say

Look from the point of view of a child, nothing is too good to be true
The sun rises, you levitate, and you are born again, anew
Many things have been left unexplained, but not your eyes, Dr. Peale said
Look to see where you are going, there is something new and better ahead

Life may be marred with ups, downs, and incessant jealousies
And forgiveness is the one thing that gets the goat of your enemies
When you're bruised and battered, It will be water under the bridge

Wow this is truly a very very inspiring piece of write
With many encouraging positive lines
But the last stanza which comes as a repetition
And most of all this line
"And forgiveness is the one thing that gets the goat of your
enemies" is the best
Great work...
